Hey bloggers... Today is no only my first post on my blog but it is also a very important day. It is Worlds AIDS Day. As much as it is a day for celebrating and enjoying the company of those that we know that are living healthy lives with AIDS/HIV we should also stop and think about those people who have been affected by the virus and are no longer with us.
Those people who have been pioneers for the AIDS research and drug testing are the real heros for today. Can you imagine being the person to take the first cocktail of some drug in hopes that you can make it through the Holidays, the year? They are the true heros!
I have friends who are affected by this virus and they I feel have more courage and have their heads on better then many of us that are living as if there is no need to worry about the virus cause it "wont affect me."
How ignorant can we be to think that it wont affect us? It will affect you in one way or the other. It will affect you because someone you know will get it or have it or you may get it. There have been many different advancements in the medications for the virus and THANK GOD!
I just want everyone to think about how lucky they are to have the opportunity to live in a society where there can be advances made and where there are brave souls willing to not only share their stories but share their lives with so many people.
I think that this blog is a bit choppy and out of sorts but it is my first one and this topic I have more passion for and just cant get it all down into words. I hope that you can understand.
Thanks for reading,
Totally Transparent Justin
